Water is a chemical compound with the chemical formula H 2O. A water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms that are connected by covalent bonds. Water is a liquid at standard ambient temperature and pressure, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice, and gaseous state, steam (water vapor).
Water on Earth moves continually through the water cycle of evaporation and transpiration (evapotranspiration), condensation, precipitation, and runoff, usually reaching the sea. Evaporation and transpiration contribute to the precipitation over land.
Water used in the production of a good or service is known as virtual water.
Safe drinking water is essential to humans and other lifeforms even though it provides no calories or organic nutrients. Access to safe drinking water has improved over the last decades in almost every part of the world, but approximately one billion people still lack access to safe water and over 2.5 billion lack access to adequate sanitation.
”Since UNDP and the EU began collaborating with national counterparts two years ago, biomass production has increased 10 times; companies now manufacture 160,000 tons of fuel a year. After last winter, when AgriBioBrichet was unable to meet a sharp surge in demand, it took measures to boost capacity, such as investing in new sources of raw materials.
It has also been active in installing production lines and advising new manufacturers.
In the past our pupils had to trek long distances in search of clean water. As such they didn’t have time to study well as part of their precious time for studies was used for trekking. Now they just get water from the school premises. They now water their classes before sweeping with ease and there is clean water in drinking pails always in all the classes. They now have time to study without disturbances.

Summer camp is a supervised program for children or teenagers conducted during the summer months in some countries. Children and adolescents who attend summer camp are known as campers.
The traditional view of a summer camp as a woody place with hiking, canoeing, and campfires is evolving, with greater acceptance of newer summer camps that offer a wide variety of specialized activities. For example, there are camps for the performing arts, music, magic, computers, language learning, mathematics, children with special needs, and weight loss. In 2006, the American Camp Association reported that 75 percent of camps added new programs. This is largely to counter a trend in decreasing enrollment in summer camps, which some argue to have been brought about by smaller family sizes and the growth in supplemental educational programs.
There are also religiously affiliated summer camps, such as those run by Evangelical Christian groups and various denominations of Judaism.
The primary purpose of many camps is educational or cultural development. A summer camp environment may allow children to take healthy risks in a safe and nurturing environment.
